OBSCURE LEGAL FACTS BY AROME ABU

In Nigeria, where a holder of a driver’s licence changes name or residential address, he is required to appear within fourteen (14) working days before the appropriate authorities (Federal Road Safety Commission, Nigerian Police Force and Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO)) in person to notify them of such change(s).

The appropriate authority will thereafter issue a new licence containing the new information.
