The Environmental Law Class of 2018/2019 of Faculty of Law, University of Abuja has celebrated the conferment of Prof. Sani Muhammed Adam as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

This was during a special event which the class held in celebration of his conferment on 19th day of December, 2020 at Peace Haven Hotel, Plot 112 Idris Gidado Street, Wuye, Abuja.

This event was graced by dignitaries who lauded the new silk for his contribution to the development of the Legal Profession.

Meanwhile, speaking on behalf of the class, S.O. Okorodudu, Esq extols the learned silk and all the invited guests.

It was remarked that ‘the crowd and the spontaneous manner everyone came out to celebrate Prof emanated from the fact that Prof as a lecturer has been a quintessential one, who has used his status for the good of humanity.’

Besides, the class noted that having regards to his contributions to the development of many people and the profession, his conferment as a SAN is ‘no doubt for the good of humanity.’

The celebrant, thanking the class for honoring him in such a joyous occasion in his life decried the menace of delay in civil/criminal justice delivery under the current Nigeria of civil and criminal justice processes where cases last over decades in trial courts, as well as appellate courts.

While concluding his speech he suggested that a holistic reform in the civil/criminal justice processes in Nigeria.

He said that such reforms will occasion and put in place, administration of criminal/civil justice processes, where cases can be concluded within a month in trial courts and three months in appellate courts.
