Doctors at Turkish hospital in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, are reportedly battling to save the life of Josephine Adeh, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Federal Territory Police Command.

Newsmen gathered that she is set to undergo surgery as part of her treatment, while the exact nature of her illness remains undisclosed.

Adeh was said to have begun feeling unwell earlier in the week as she complained of discomfort on Tuesday, prompting her immediate admission to a hospital on Wednesday, where medical professionals have been working tirelessly to stabilise her condition, a source told Newsmen.

The source affirmed that her condition is serious enough to warrant urgent surgical intervention.

“Josephine has been at Turkish Hospital in Abuja since Wednesday. It was said that it started on Tuesday; she complained of not feeling well to her colleagues at work, which has degenerated.

“I don’t know exactly the cause of the ailment but I learnt it is a very serious one that will require a surgical operation after she was not responding to treatment,” one of the sources added.

Meanwhile, all efforts to reach Josephine Adeh on her phone were not successful as she didn’t respond to calls or messages.
