Groups stormed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Benin Zonal office and Abuja headquarters today to demand for justice as Adams Oshiomhole is indicted over financial crimes by a Judicial Commission of Inquiry, which investigated the non-completion of the Edo Specialist Hospital, Benin.

In the Benin Zonal Office of the EFCC, the protesters were addressed by Mr William Oseghale, an official of the Commission who urged the group to present a formal petition, so as to enable the anti-graft agency swing into action.

A similar protest took place at the Abuja Headquarters of the Commission today. The protest was led by Prince Desmond Ricosa, who demanded that the commission should without delay, investigate and prosecute Oshiomhole, on account of the indictment that was made against him last week.

It would be re-called that last week a Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up by the Edo State Government to investigate the construction and supply of equipment for the 5-star Edo Specialist Hospital indicted Adams Oshiomhole for financial crimes bordering on procurement fraud.

The attempt by Oshiomhole to restrain the Commission of lnquiry through a court order was unsuccessful.
