POWERS OF ROAD SAFETY CORP MEMBERS TO SIEZE DRIVING LICENCE AND VEHICLE DOCUMENT.

In Nigeria, a member of the Road Safety Corps may sieze the driving licence and/or vehicle documents of a traffic offender.

However such seizure must be for the purpose of securing the compliance with
payment of fine or appearance in court.

On the payment of such fine or appearance in court the driving licence and/or vehicle document shall be returned to the driver forthwith.
