On the 16th day of September, 2020, the Nnewi Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, under the Chairmanship of Kingsley Awuka, Esq., inaugurated the Executive members of the Young Lawyers Forum, Nnewi Branch. This comes after the Forum was duly constituted by the Awuka led administration on the 14th day of August, 2020.
At the event, the Chairman of the Branch, Kingsley Awuka, Esq., along with some members of the Executive Committee, saw to the inauguration as they took turns to address the new Executive members of the Young Lawyers Forum, Nnewi, after they were formally sworn in. In his speech, the Branch Chairman expressed confidence in the new leadership and urged them to lead the Forum to greater heights.
The Inaugurated Executive members of the Young Lawyers Forum, Nnewi Branch are:
1. C.E. Okonkwo, Esq. – Chairman
2. M.O. Eze, Esq. – Secretary
3. J.O Akoh, Esq. – Treasurer
4. C.E. Origbakpor, Esq. – Welfare Secretary
In view of some vacant positions, some members of the Forum were subsequently co-opted by the Forum and they are:

6) M.P Okon – Legal Adviser
7) V.C Agbom, Esq.- Financial Secretary
8) O.F. Okeke, Esq. – Publicity Secretary
9) U.M Onwugamba, Esq. – Assistant Secretary
10). A.M Udeze, Esq. – Provost.
11) Christopher Oko, Esq.- Social Secretary.
The newly inaugurated Chairman of the Young Lawyers Forum, Nnewi appreciated the Executive Committee of the Branch for their confidence in them and reiterated his committment towards a service marked by great dedication and diligence for the overall betterment of the Nigeria Bar Association.
Also in attendance at the Inauguration were other members of the Executive Committee of the Branch, to wit; the Vice Chairman, the Secretary, the Legal Adviser and the Social Secretary, U.P Igwe, Esq., who happens to be a member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Young Lawyers Forum.
