In Nigeria, if a candidate for WAEC examination is found to have had foreknowledge of the content of live questions, he shall:

● If he has not taken the examination, be prohibited from taking any WAEC examination for a period of two (2) years.

● If he has already taken the examination, his result shall be cancelled.

See Section 19 of the West African Examination Council Act.
