PENALTY FOR DISCLOSING HIV STATUS OF ANOTHER

In Nigeria, it is an offence for a person having knowledge of the HIV status of another person to disclose it.

However, it shall not amount to an offence if individual to which the information relates, consents in writing or if such disclosure is required by law.

PENALTY
-2,000,000
-Imprisonment of not less than one (1) years or both.
