Past President of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) Chief T.J. Onomigbo-Okpoko, SAN, has said that the Mid-West Bar Forum have no Deal with the West on NBA 2020 Elections.

Chief T.J. Onomigbo-Okpoko, SAN, made this remark on Friday while addressing members of the Mid-West Bar Forum at the meeting of the Forum held in Benin-City.

He categorically debunked the reports credited to Chief Niyi Akintola, SAN to the effect that the Mid-West Bar Forum had entered into an agreement with the Egbe Amofin to concede the Presidency of the NBA in 2020 to the Egbe.

Chief Okpoko stated that there was no iota of truth in that statement and that he was utterly disappointed that any member of the Bar would resort to peddling falsehood simply to achieve selfish political ends.
