Distinguished Learned Seniors and Colleagues, we’re pleading for the observation of a one day (half daily, 6-12) fast starting from today, 12th June 2024 with fervent prayers to God Almighty The Supreme Deity and Controller of the Entire Universe to intervene, interrupt, disrupt and destroy the plans of the abductors of Mr. Ejike Ugwu. We place utmost respect and value for the the Sanctity of human life and therefore further suspends campaign until the release of our brother because:

1. We feel the pains of the unfortunate situation which has befallen our brother.
2. This is a test case for the the office of the Vice Chairman who’s constitutionally empowered to deal with the issues relating to Human Rights to dignity of life, safety, liberty and freedom of movement which has been taken away from our brother.

Since we don’t have the knowledge of the identity of the kidnappers to confront them head on, our most potent weapon of warfare is Divine Mercy and Protection. Please use psalm 23:4 & rely on Acts of Apostles chapter 12:6-12 to invoke the safety and release of our brother as the Lord is the God of impossibilities(Ezechit’oke Abiama cheg’de anyiooh).

We hope it’s going to end in praise and Thanksgiving IJN Amen…… and poetically, we pray as follows:

We never never will keep calm
While Ejike Ugwu is under harm
We have been acting with no delay
As we watch and seriously pray
To Our Father Almighty God
To speak forth His Living Word
And consume bloody men of devil
Who formed a deadly axis of evil
And in glee crossed the bar
Kidnapped a member of Enbar,
We demand his immediate release
So we can enjoy, rejoice with ease.
