The Ogun State Judiciary will not be proceeding on its 2020 Annual Court Vacation

The Chief Judge of the State, Hon. Justice M. A. Dipeolu, FICMC who announced the cancelation cited the Covid-19 lockdown as the reason

“This cancellation became necessary in view of the lockdown induced by the COVID-19 pandemic all over the Country particularly in Ogun State.”

Justice Dipeolu however said courts will be operational during the time after which individual judges will later proceed on the vacation as may be approved by the Chief Judge.

“During this time, all the hierarchy of courts, to wit: the High Court, Magistrate Court and Customary Court will all be operational.

“Please note that individual Hon. Judges will proceed on Annual Vacation as approved by My Lord, the Hon. Chief Judge.”
