Reacting, some Nigerian on Twitter said the incident has exposed the ‘weak’ security architecture in the country as nobody is safe again.
Below are some reactions;

Other Afghanistan tragedy looms in Nigeria. We rehabilitate failures
We rehabilitate Bandits
Meanwhile the almighty Nigerian Defence Academy was attacked by bandits. This is just a tip of the iceberg of what Villagers passes through in the hands of both the bandits and our Govt

I’m not surprised that the terrorists don’t see the Nigerian Defence Academy as a fortress. The same Nigerian Army parades terrorists as repentant terrorists, gave them placard to display before Nigerians who have suffered their wickedness and insatiable taste for blood.

A heavily secured Nigerian Defence Academy was overran by a group of bandits? They should go and tell that to the marines. Insecurity is purely business for some highly-placed people in this regime.

The attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy by terrorists in which an Army officer was killed and two Majors were kidnapped is a big insult and slap on the face of the Nigerian Armed Forces. The terrorists must be hunted down and killed and the two Majors must be rescued.@UN pic.twitter.com/YCwfcievdd

Lest we forget, under this lead-from-the-front Buhari’s govt, Boko Haram strolls into town and attack military formations.
Today’s incident at the Nigerian Defence Academy where three soldiers were killed and others abducted isn’t the first.

I am I reading this correctly?
“Bandits” attacked the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna – killing a Naval officer and two Army Majors?
It is finished.
(If you’ve seen the number of security checkpoints in the South, you’d think Southern Nigeria is less secure than the North). https://t.co/Z9Co3z25Os
