Two sisters have been kidnapped in Delta State, in South-South Nigeria.
The incident occurred at ldumu-Ozomah Ogbedibo Quarters in lssele Uku, the headquarters of Aniocha Local Government Area of the state.
The two girls were Identified as Chiamanda Ojobo, five and Chidalu Ojobo, three.
The two siblings were reportedly kidnapped on Thursday by their new neighbours.
Chimezie Ojobo, the father of the children, told SaharaReporters that the neighbour abducted his children after giving them biscuits.
“I was not around that Thursday; I am a building engineer, so I went to work and my wife also went to the market because it was a market day.
“I never knew that there was a new tenant in the compound. On that fateful Thursday, the new neighbours were seen giving biscuits to the children in the compound, including my children, before they disappeared with them.
“When we broke the door into their apartment, there was no single load, we saw only a mat,” he said.
SaharaReporters gathered that the new tenant at the end of last month paid the landlady for six months, after which she travelled. But the tenant returned last Wednesday night with another woman, claiming to be her sister.
On Thursday afternoon, she disappeared with the children.
The police spokesperson in the state, DSP Bright Edafe told SaharaReporters that he had not been briefed about the incident, but promised to be in touch once he had the details.
