Nigeria Saturday reported 162 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus to bring the nationwide tally to 54, 905 with 42, 922 recoveries and 1, 054 deaths (3 new deaths).
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Lagos, the State with the highest number of recorded cases posted 53, while Gombe State added 21 and Oyo reported 19. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC also said it has so far tested 420, 543 samples as at September 4, 2020.
