The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Olumide Akpata has paid an unscheduled condolence visit to a member of the Association, Ada Obinna Edozie, ESQ over the demise of her late beloved father, Chief Omeluora I of Ugboawka in Nkanu East LGA, Enugu State.
Ada Obinna Edozie, Esq was the formal Vice Chairman of the Onitsha Branch of NBA, former Treasurer of FIDA, and a member of the Council of Legal Education.
While expressing her delight over the visit in a chat with TheNigeriaLawyer, she said:
“The humane and most down-to-earth president of NBA, Mr. Olumide Akpata paid me a surprise visit to condole with me on the Sudden demise of my beloved father Chief Omeluora I of Ugboawka in Nkanu East LGA Enugu State.
“I pray that God will guide Mr president as he journeys back to his base and may the soul of my dearly beloved daddy continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen”.
When asked when the late father will be buried, she said, “Once the arrangement is concluded the date will be duly communicated to the public.”
