The Nigerian Bar Association, Effurun Branch has adopted one of the presidential candidates of the NBA Mr Olumide Akpata as their sole candidate for the NBA national elections. The adoption was done at the the June monthly general meeting of the branch held in Effurun. This was made known to the public by the branch Publicity Secretary, Mr. K. O. Idisi, Esq. FICMC.

Chairman of the Branch, Mr. Don O. Egho earlier in the meeting informed members about the relationship between Mr. Olumide Akpata and the branch, stating that Akpata is fully part of the branch. The chairman maintained that Akpata is one man that has done the branch very proud in many respects, particularly in his service to the Bar and the legal profession in general.

The Vice-chairman of the branch, Mr. B. O. Ubioworo wasted no time to move the motion that Mr. Olumide Akpata be adopted by the branch as their sole candidate for NBA Presidency. The motion was seconded by Mr. Emmanuel Peters Odafe.
