Nigerian Bar Association, Awka branch on Wednesday launched an Online Judgments on Corruption in Nigeria.

The launch which was sponsored by CLEEN Foundation supported by McArthur Foundation.

The occasion saw the installation of electronics gadgets in NBA Awka Branch Bar Centre (Ozo Amanke Okafor Bar Centre) for such purpose.

The Centre will serve as a depositary for both hard and soft copies of judgments on corruption and other related matters in Nigeria. It will serve the people of Anambra State in particular and Nigeria in general. The site could be accessed through https://cleen.uwazi.io/

In his Opening Remarks, the Chairman of NBA Awka Branch, Ekene Okonkwo, Esq. appreciated the synergy between NBA Awka Branch and CLEEN Foundation, which saw to the setting up of the platform in the Bar Center.

He assured the Foundation that with the proposed Court of Appeal, Awka Division that shares a common boundary with NBA Awka Bar Centre, such judgments would be accessible timely. The Chairman also cut the tape and declared the Centre open.

In his Vote of Thanks, the Secretary of NBA Awka Branch, Tony Anazor, Esq. thanked CLEEN Foundation for finding the Branch worthy to host the platform and assured that the Secretariat of the Branch has the requisite manpower for the smooth running of the Centre.

The event witnessed the demo by the CLEEN Foundation Resource personnel, pictures, et cetera.
