Anaocha branch of Nigerian Bar Association during its 3rd Biennial law week will be honouring some people who are special to them.
The following dignitaries to receive the award are Chief Emeka J.P Obegolu FICMC, President of Pan African Lawyers Union(PALU), President of Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and Conciliator (ICMC), the principal partner Green Field Chambers and former General Secretary Nigerian Bar Association. Emmanuel Achukwu SAN, the principal partner, The Campbell law firm and Hon Barr Celestine Ayika, House of Representative Member. His Worship Loretta C. Okoye.
The newly sworn-in Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Alex Ejesieme, SAN, Principal partner at Alex Ejesieme SAN & Co, is not left out. G.C Igbokwe SAN, Principal partner at G.C Igbokwe SAN & Co, and Bar Emmanuel Nwakeze, The controller of corrections Anambra state command Awka.
The chairman of the branch, Chief J. N. Okongwu Esq, while speaking with TheNigerialawyer (TNL) said that “the branch choose to recognize them during the law week because of their immense contribution and development of the branch.
“The members have deemed it worthy to recognize His Worship Loretta C. Okoye on the 16th of November, 2019 for her tremendous achievements and successes attained in the discharge of her judicial duties with dignity as a True Magistrate.
“I as the branch Chairman, Chief J. N. Okongwu Esq as well the Committee Chairman, His Honour N. D. Ezeani Esq, the former Chief Registrar of Anambra State Judiciary and members of the executive and the members of the bar week committee are all making efforts to ensure that the event is the best of it’s kind,” the Okongwu said.
