The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that the Court of Appeal is frustrating preparations to challenge the judgment on the Nasarawa State governorship election at the Supreme Court.

Enokela Orogu, Nasarawa State PDP chairman, voiced the party’s frustration while speaking on AIT’s Kaakaki Programme, monitored by DAILY POST on Saturday.

Orogu accused the Court of Appeal of obstructing access to the judgment copy, which is essential for preparing the appeal.

He claimed that despite the judgment being read, the court withheld the document, potentially jeopardizing the appeal deadline.

The PDP chairman questioned the court’s transparency, citing the unusual reading of the judgment from a basic piece of paper.

“We approached the Appeal Court for the copy of the judgment to prepare ourselves for appeal in the Supreme Court, but they denied us up to this moment, telling us it was not ready; we should come back on Monday.

” If it was not ready, why did they come to present the judgment?

“The judgment which I rather call a joker was even read on an ordinary piece of paper. This is deliberate in order to hinder us from meeting up with the deadline of appeal.

“You can’t hide the truth,” Orogu said.
