Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule has tested negative of Corona Virus, a statement from his office disclosed.

A statement issued by Yakubu Lamai, Director General, Strategic Communication and Press Affairs, on Wednesday, Gov Sule, has gone into self-isolation, as precautionary measure against exposure to the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to the statement, the Governor has earlier invited a medical team from the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), to conduct comprehensive tests on him and have taken his samples.

While noting that, so far, all the results from the test, showed negative, the statement added that the public will be informed on new developments regarding the health of the Governor, as well as other government officials.

It would be recalled that the Sule was among the governors that had contact with Abba Kyari, Chief of to President Muhammadu Buhari who was tested positive of COVID-19 on March 24.
