– Kevin De Bruyne and Mahrez scored for Manchester City while N’Golo Kante scored for the Blues – Chelsea fans however blamed Emerson Palmieri for their defeat against Manchester City Chelsea fans have berated the performance of defender Emerson Palmieri after allowing Riyad Mahrez to score the winner for Manchester City on Saturday, November 23.

Frank Lampard and his wards were beaten 2-1 by the reigning Premier League champions who have now moved to third position on the standings. Emerson Palmieri has now been blamed by Chelsea fans for their defeat against Manchester City with many telling the Blues chiefs to replace him.
But Chelsea fans will have to pray that the club’s win their appeal against the two-year ban currently slapped on them over registering young players. Chelsea have taken the case to the Court of Arbitration for sports and they are awaiting judgement.

The ban did not also allow current Chelsea gaffer Frank Lampard to sign any player when he was appointed as a replacement for Maurizio Sarri.

One fan tweeted: “Emerson definitely not very good, sadly this was obvious anyway, hopefully we can buy someone at the top level”. And another added: “Oh dear Mahrez rinsed Emerson & Kova there Chelsea not taking those early chances hmmm”.
