Reverend Jonathan Daniel of the Assemblies of God Mission, Kaduna State, has said the recent kidnap of three Reverend sisters of a Catholic Church in Imo State, is an indication that bandits’ attack and other criminal activities were only targeting Christians
Rev. Daniel while speaking to Newsmen, noted that many Christian leaders have been killed, and abducted as compared to other religions in the country, adding that he suspects some people or individuals do not want Christians to exist in Nigeria
Recall that three Rev. Sisters, Johannes Nwodo, Christabel Echemazu, Liberata Mbamelu, and Benita Agu of a Catholic Church in Imo State were kidnapped by suspected bandits while on their way to church on Sunday.
Reacting, Rev. Daniel expressed worries that Christians are the most targeted but urged them to continue praying against bandits’ attacks and other forms of criminality in the country.
He also prayed for the quick release of the victims, just as he begged the security operatives to intensify efforts aimed at rescuing the victims
