Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has congratulated Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), on his 68th birthday. In a heartfelt message on his official Facebook page, Governor Yusuf praised Kwankwaso’s immense political influence and contributions to Nigeria’s development, describing him as a mentor and pillar in the country’s political landscape.

Governor Yusuf reflected on their 38-year relationship, highlighting the valuable knowledge and experience gained from working alongside Kwankwaso. “Your leadership qualities and broad political influence span the nation,” Yusuf wrote. “Your philosophy has positively impacted communities, inspired exceptional leaders and greatly contributed to humanity. You are indeed a dominant force in Nigerian politics.”

Kwankwaso’s illustrious career includes serving as Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, two-time Governor of Kano State, Minister of Defence, Special Envoy to Darfur and Somalia, Senator and NNPP’s 2023 presidential candidate.
