The Management of the Corporate Affairs Commission has announced its decision to extend the service days in view of the further ease of lockdown announced by the Federal Government.
It would be recalled that the Commission had earlier on issued a notice, bringing to the attention of all customers to disregard a service timeline earlier on released by the Commission. According to the earlier notice:
“This is to inform our esteemed customers that in view of the Federal Government’s directive limiting working days to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm and the cadre of officers required to be at work on those days (i.e level 14 and above), the earlier published Service Delivery Timelines are no longer feasible. Customers should, therefore, ignore the earlier published timelines….”
In another development however, the Commission had issued a new service days. According to the issued statement which was made available to TheNigeriaLawyer(TNL), the new service days would run from Monday-Friday 9AM-2PM daily.
According to the statement:
“Following the further ease of the Covid-19 Lockdown by the Federal Government, the Commission wishes to inform its valued Customers and the General Public that it is now open for business Monday-Friday 9am-2pm”
In addition, the statement enjoined all Customers to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols as laid down.
“Customers are therefore enjoined to continue to observe all protocols earlier established.” The statement concluded.
