Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, has pledged to continue to initiate policies that will enhance the development of agriculture, education, health and job creation.

He stated this in his New Year message, saying that in 2024 his administration would build on the foundation of progress laid in 2023.

According to the governor, his 12-point agenda, focusing on education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and job creation, would continue to guide the state’s development trajectory.

“Infrastructure development remains a cornerstone of the agenda, with accelerated efforts planned to improve road networks, rural electrification and water resources to create an environment conducive to business growth.

“Job creation is a top priority, with the administration exploring partnerships with the private sector to stimulate economic activities and provide employment opportunities for the youth,’’ he said.
