The Imo State Judicial Service Commission has called for nomination of suitably qualified candidates to fill vacancies as Judges in the State’s Judiciary.

In a letter dated 14th February, and addressed to the Chief Judges of various States in the country, the Chief Judge of Imo State, who is also the Chairman of the Judicial Service Commission, Justice T.E. Chukwuemeka-Chikeka announced that the Governor has approved the appointment of Five (5) new High Court Judges and Three (3) Customary Court of Appeal Judges for the State Judiciary to fill the existing vacancies in those courts.

The letter therefore requested the nomination of suitable candidates of Imo origin within their jurisdictions for consideration for the appointment on or before the 20th day of February, 2023.
