A-yet-to-be identified couple is among four persons arrested over an alleged theft of a month old baby in Lagos State.

The suspects were intercepted at Anthony-Oke on Ikorodu road onboard a Toyota Sienna bus around 2 am. The suspects allegedly came into Lagos from the eastern part of the country. Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said the suspects were arrested on Sunday by policemen from Anthony Village Police Division led by the DPO, SP Patricia Amadin. Elkana said investigations into the case had commenced and the suspects were in custody. “The baby was rescued from them,” he said.
