Gunmen have released a South-East businessman Emeka Nwachukwu, who was kidnapped on Wednesday in Kwara State.
A family source told Newsmen on Monday that Nwachukwu was released on Sunday after his family paid a N10 million ransom.
Another police source confirmed to Newsmen that the Divisional Police Officer in Kosubosu confirmed Nwachukwu’s release following the payment of the ransom to the abductors.
“Efforts are being made to track the kidnappers and bring them to justice.”
Earlier on Thursday, Newsmen reported that the businessman was abducted by unknown gunmen at his clinic in Kosubosu, Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State.
