The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, Lagos Branch Lagos State led by her Chairperson, Mrs Chinwe Efobi, held a Town Hall meeting to mark the International Women’s Day on Wednesday, the 8th of March 2022, at Ijora town hall, Palace Road Ijora.

The theme of the meeting was ” Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.” The Opening Remarks were made by Mrs Chinwe Efobi, Chairperson FIDA Lagos Branch and the Key note Speaker was Mrs Roli Craig.

It was a very successful and impactful meeting with an impressive number of women, both young and old who couldn’t stop commenting on how impactful the meeting was, and went as far as mentioning how they initially thought the meeting was going to be to their financial gain but were actually more thankful because of the knowledge they gained which they would be able to use in advancing their lives as women.

At the conclusion of the meeting, they were all full of thanks and extremely grateful to have been part of such a wonderful outing.
