Aderemi Oseni, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, announced on Monday that the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, is ready to repair all federal roads across Nigeria as part of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda to alleviate the suffering of the masses.

Oseni, who represents Oyo State’s Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency, said this during a thank-you visit to the All Progressives Congress state secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, the state capital.

The lawmaker, noting the poor condition of federal highways across the country, encouraged Nigerians to be patient with Tinubu and give him more time to address Nigeria’s difficulties.

He stated, “Tinubu is not the cause of the challenges we are currently facing, including bad roads across the nation. These issues extend beyond the current administration. Tinubu is working diligently to resolve the problems created by previous administrations. As part of his Renewed Hope Agenda, he is making concerted efforts to repair all federal roads across Nigeria, easing the suffering of the masses.”

During his visit to the APC secretariat, Oseni offered his condolences to the party following the death of its late Chairman, Isaac Omodewu, and thanked party members for their support in his election victory.

He urged the party to unite in preparation for the 2027 elections, directing the executive members to design a strategy to restore the party to power.

Oseni also donated N10 million to the party for operational purposes.

In response, the party’s interim chairman, Olayide Abas, commended Oseni for visiting the party secretariat and expressed delight in his major efforts to positively influence his constituency.
