Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) has announced the newly approved fees payable by students in different departments.

Students of the university had recently taken to the streets to protest the sharp increase in tuition by the management.

Recall that the fees, which used to be around N70,000 was jacked up to N180,000 for returning students and N240,000 for new intakes.

However, the University Senate, at its 142nd regular meeting, reduced the new fees, perhaps to consider the agitation of the protesting students.

The Registrar, Dapo Oke, confirmed to our correspondent that returning students studying education courses are to pay N148,500, while their counterparts listed as pure courses will pay a sum of N158,500 as tuition.
