The Magajin Gari Sharia Court in Kaduna has ordered a tailor, Abubakar Surajo, to provide court records he claimed struck out the judgment it passed to stop providing for his child feeding.

Mr Surajo, who resides in Kaduna metropolis, told the court that he appealed the court judgment delivered in March 2020.

The court had ordered Mr Surajo to pay N5,000 monthly for his child’s feeding. The judge, Murtala Nasir, adjourned the case until December 6 for Mr Surajo to provide the records.

Earlier, the complainant, Labiba Mustapha, through her Counsel, Amin Hassan, said the judgment debtor (Surajo) only paid N8,000 for his son’s feeding.

The counsel said the judgment debtor (Mr Surajo) only appealed in another court, seeking orders to allow him occasionally take his son from his ex-wife (Mustapha) to spend time with him.

He prayed the court to compel the judgment debtor to pay N97,000 for his son’s feeding, which he defaulted for 21 months.
