The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has distanced itself from the advert by a company which described itself as “FABTRIX GEN. ENT. NIG. LTD”

The company had in an advert invited the public to contact them for registration of business name and limited liability

“We are accredited CAC Consultants. We deliver your certificate within 10-14 working days.” the advert reads

However, in a disclaimer sighted by LegaldeskNG, CAC described the advert as fake. They said,

“This is not sanctioned by the Corporate Affairs Commission. It is absolutely fake! Please beware!!!”

It should be noted that the CAC does not have any such accredited consultant, and the contact details included on the said advert are neither the representatives of the CAC, nor transact on the above bases with the Commission.

The said address being, 2500, Gwarzo road, near BUK new site, Kano, as well as the included number—081-4777-7712, are unknown to the CAC.

The CAC, therefore, urges members of the public to beware, so as not to fall prey.
