The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has reacted to the reports making the rounds that it has banned the usage of Uber, Bolt, and others at the Lagos Airport.

It debunked the report in a Press Release sighted by TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) dated 11th December, 2019 and signed by Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, the Corporate Affairs General Manager of FAAN.

“We will, therefore, like to use this medium to inform the general public that the said signpost did not emanate from FAAN and our security personnel have been instructed to remove the signpost and investigate the issue” the disclaimer reads in part.

FAAN added that passengers and the general public are free to use whatever means or mode convenient for them to transport themselves to the Lagos and other Airports in Nigeria. It says FAAN is committed to the core values of safety, security, and comfort.
