The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), ably led by its President, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has mobilized a team of observers to monitor the Edo State Gubernatorial Election scheduled for Saturday, September 21st, 2024. This move underscores the association’s commitment to ensuring that the election is conducted with fairness, transparency, and adherence to democratic principles.

Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, General Secretary of the Association addressed members ahead of the deployment, emphasizing the gravity of their responsibility. “The importance of our role as observers cannot be overstated. As members of the NBA, we carry the responsibility of ensuring that the election is conducted in a fair, transparent, and credible manner,” Dr. Ojibara said. He expressed confidence in the team’s dedication to supporting a smooth and just electoral process.
