The former chairman of NBA, Aguata Branch and former chairman of chairmen of the eight (8) branches of NBA in Anambra state has thanked his supporters who stood by him during his campaigns for the office of National Welfare Secretary of NBA.

In a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL), he said despite the outcome of the election, their efforts will not go unnoticed

“Good morning Learned Silks, distinguished Senior and colleagues.

The election has come and gone with highs and lows but your unwavering efforts and support for me throughout this journey would never go unnoticed. I thank you all for standing by me and believing in me. Despite the outcome of the election results, my heart is filled with gratitude towards you all. May God bless us all.

Long live the NBA!!
Tomorrow will be better.”

Anyia contested alongside the current National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Kunle Edun.

Kunle Edun emerged the winner with 9001 (54.2%) votes while Anyia scored 7619 (45.8) votes
