In Nigeria, persons within the following category are considered prohibited immigrants & will be refused entry into Nigeria & if admitted, will be deported from Nigeria:

1. Persons without visible means of support;

2. Mentally ill persons;

3. Persons whose admission is contrary to National Interest;

4. A person who is a prostitute;

5. A person who has no valid passport;

6. A person smuggling migrants or trafficking in persons; etc

S.44, of the Immigration Act.
