The test result of a suspected Coronavirus (COVID-19) case in Enugu State has come out negative, the state government said on Sunday.
The test was carried out at the Irua Specialist Hospital in Edo State.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control is aware of the patient in Enugu, suspected to have #COVID19.
This is one of several alerts received daily at the National #COVID19 Emergency Operations Centre.

The suspected case was a female who recently returned from the United Kingdom and came to Enugu through Owerri on March 11.
Announcing the outcome of the result was the Permanent Secretary in the state’s Ministry of Health, Ifeanyi Agujiobi.
According to Agujiobi, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) also confirmed the result to be negative.
