CONDITIONS FOR USE OF STATE FLAGS WITH THE NATIONAL FLAGS

In Nigeria, where the flag of any State is exhibited or flown at any public place in a State, it shall not be necessary for the National flag to be flown at the same time.

However, if the flag of such State and the National Flag are to be flown at the same time in any public place in that State;

(a) the size of the State flag shall not be bigger than the National Flag and

(b) the National flag shall fly above the State flag.
