The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the date as Nigeria seeks to secure its spot at the 35th Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, set for December 2025 to January 2026.
In a statement released Tuesday, Ademola Olajire, Communications Director for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), announced that Moroccan referee Samir Guezzaz and his team will officiate the 5 p.m. fixture.
