A Customary Court at Amurri near Agbani, Enugu State cannot sit for lack of payment of rent.
The customary court chaired by Egbo, Esq. at Amurri town, a stone’s throw from Agbani town which hosts the Nigerian Law School, Agbani campus, has been locked up and entrance to the premises barricaded.
According to Information available to BarristerNG.com, the angry landlord locked up the court and prevented litigants and the Customary court judge from accessing the premises of the court.
Court official confirmed to Lawyers that the court has not paid its rent for the court rooms to the landlord.
Lawyers were dismayed at the Bizarre development.
