The Chief Judge of Borno State, Justice Kashim Zannah has released Covid-19 Response No. 13

The CJ, in the said response which was made available to newsmen,tasked lawyers to register and obtain official email addresses for normal practice henceforth

“WHEREAS the COVID-19 RESPONSE Order No.12 expired on the 4th day of October 2020

“WHILE MAKING arrangements for the safe resumption of normal services”

The Chief Judge in Exercise Of the Powers conferred on him by section 68 of the High Court Law (CAP 63) further direct that:

1. The Covid Response Order No. 12 shall subsist pending the issuance of an order of resumption inline with what shall henceforth be the normal court operations;

2. All legal practitioners who have not are hereby advised to register and obtain their official email at legalmail.nigerianbar.ng, which shall be essential for normal practice henceforth.

3. The CCC shall continue its commendable work of monitoring compliance with the CLASS, availability and use of sanitation and disinfection supplies and the periodic fumigation and disinfection of Court Halls and accused persons Holding Bays.

4. The public and all stakeholders are enjoined to help maintain our so far gratifying results by reporting to the CCC or directly to the Office of the Chief Judge, any violations of the measures ordered.
