Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, widow of the late Biafran leader Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu and minister of state for foreign affairs, has reacted to a viral video showing former Anambra First Lady Ebele Obiano in a heated argument with a fellow passenger aboard a US flight.
The video, which surfaced online on Thursday, captures Ebele engaged in a verbal altercation with a male Caucasian passenger. The confrontation reportedly began when the man told her to “get out” as she attempted to take her seat.
In the footage, Ebele is heard responding angrily, insisting on her right to the seat.
“Are you crazy? This is where I’m sitting. So you let me go first. No, I’m not going to get out of here. Who the hell do you think you are? If you want me to go front… Nonsense. What is all this?”
Although the exact cause of the dispute remains unclear, eyewitnesses claim that her husband, former Anambra governor Willie Obiano, was also on the flight but chose not to intervene.
Reacting to the incident, Bianca took to Instagram on Friday, sharing the video with a caption laced with sarcasm.
She suggested that all aircraft departing Houston should stock up on ‘Biancamycin tablets’ because, according to her, “some people can never change.”
“Again?????? All aircraft flying out of Houston should be mandated to operate mini pharmacies where somebody can buy Biancamycin tablets because some people can never change🤷🏼♀️” she wrote.
Her post reignited memories of her infamous clash with Ebele during the March 2022 inauguration of Anambra Governor Charles Soludo.
At the event, Ebele had reportedly confronted Bianca with accusatory remarks, prompting Bianca to slap her. The scuffle drew the intervention of security personnel, and the Obianos eventually left the venue.
The latest video has sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users recalling the duo’s past altercation while others weighed in on the appropriateness of Ebele’s reaction on the flight.
