A Benin based lawyer, Sheriff Okoh, has been declared missing by his family.
Sheriff Okoh got missing on his way from Edo to Abuja.
According to Former Assistant Publicity Secretary of NBA Abubakar Aliyu, Sheriff Okoh reportedly got missing on the 17th of November 2019 and was last seen online (WhatsApp) at 5:25 pm.
TNL also learnt that Sheriff Okoh was at Okene Kogi on his way to Abuja when he was last contacted.
According to information obtained every effort by the family and colleagues to locate him has proved very difficult.
“Nobody is sure of his whereabouts.
“Sheriff Okoh is a graduate of the University of Abuja (Unibuja) and he is one of the lawyers that represented Kabiru Sokoto during his trial.
There is a suspicion by his family that he was arrested by the Police being a human rights activist.
TNL also gathered that check at the Force headquarters by his colleagues of Uniabuja where he had his first degree has yielded no result just yet.
