Augustine Nwabueze Eseagwu, Esq., ACIArb (UK) has emerged as the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Asaba Branch.

LDN learnt that the keenly contested elections of the Branch held on 22nd September, 2020.

Eseagwu won the election for the office of Chairman with 205 votes against Uche V. Anozie Esq’s who polled 110 votes.

The other keenly contested post was the office of the Branch Secretary between Ethe Oho Esq who polled 132 votes, and Collins Ogochukwu Osagu Esq who polled 182 votes.

The following positions were unopposed:

1. Vice Chairman, Mrs. Juliet Ojefia

2. Assistant Secretary, Onome Nwose.

3. Treasurer, Promise Nwokoro Esq.

4. Financial Secretary, Victoria Ufomba.

The remaining positions were uncontested for, and remain vacant.

The NBA Asaba Branch Caretaker Committee of A. K. Nmah Esq, O.W. Chibuogwu Esq, and Chukwuma Oseyenim Esq will swear in the new exco on the 24th day of Thursday, 2020.
