In a congratulatory message by the Publicity Secretary, Paul Gbande on Sunday, the forum said “The Arewa Young Lawyers Forum wishes to congratulate Mr Y.C. Maikyau SAN on his election at the poll and subsequent swearing -in as the 31st President of the Nigerian Bar Association.

“Indeed the desterity, simplicity and unparalleled passion of the new President for the wellbeing of lawyers have paid off. We sincerely believe his emergence heralds better days ahead for the Bar, even as we trust he would consolidate on the gains of the Olu Akpata led administration as well as build on it going forward.

“We are proud to identify with him as one who can be relied upon to unite and strengthen the Bar in its defence of the rule of law.

“We also Congratulate other Executive Members on their inaugurations and we pray they will all have a successful tenure” he stated.
