The Sokoto Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, has lost its immediate past Branch Secretary, Dr. SS Auta, to the cold hands of death. Dr Auta Died Yesterday at the Usman DanFodiyo Teaching Hospital Sokoto.

In his honour, the Branch declared today the 19th September, 2022 as a Court free Day to enable members attend the funeral.
Information shared by the Branch Secretary, Rashida Mohammed stated that Dr Auta’s funeral will take place in Gusau, in Zamfara State.

Late Dr. S. S. Auta was also a lecturer at faculty of law Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto and was in active legal practice.

He was described as amiable, Friendly and Hardworking by Colleagues.
