The Adamawa State Police Command has placed on display a number of items for actual owners to claim.
The items include 14 cows, 21 sheep, and five motorcycles.
The command said through a statement issued by its image maker, DSP Suleiman Nguroje that the properties were recovered by the Command’s police operatives attached to Ganye Divisional police headquarters during investigations sometime in 2020 and February 2021.
It said the items have remained unclaimed and stressed the need for all owners to respond accordingly.
“On the strength of that, the Commissioner of Police. CP Mohammed Ahmed Barde, is calling on the general public whose motorcycles, cattle or sheep were stolen or missing to report to the police Divisional headquarters, Ganye with original proofs of ownership,” the statement said.
It assured members of the public of the police command’s untiring commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the state.
