The Maitama District Hospital has been cleared of any liability over the death of Greatness Olorunfemi.
The nine-man independent investigative panel established by the government probed the hospital’s alleged negligence that led to Olorunfemi’s death.
The panel, which was formed in October, concluded its investigation of the circumstances surrounding the incident on Wednesday and submitted its findings in a comprehensive 94-page report.
Olorunfemi who boarded a one-chance crime cab in Abuja, was stabbed and thrown out of the moving vehicle.
She was rushed to Maitama District Hospital in her critical state but was rejected by the facility.
However, the panel said Olorunfemi was brought in lifeless by Good Samaritans who discovered her by the roadside.
