The Kano State Judiciary has directed that its security seal must be used on all court processes commencing from 21st of March, 2021

This is contained in Circular made available to newsmen signed by the Chief Judge of the state, Hon. Justice Nura Sagir Umar

Justice Umar said the purpose is for authentication of documents

“Pursuant to the provision of section 116 of the High Court Law (Cap 57) Laws of Kano State and all other powers enabling in the behalf, I hereby direct, effective from 22nd March, 2021, that Court Process/Documents in all Courts in Kano State shall have affixed the Kano State Judiciary Seal.

“This is for the purposes of authentication of all Processes/Documents of the Courts.” the Circular reads

The Chief Judge urged all staff of the judiciary, members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the General Public to adhere strictly to the directive
